About This Event
Pre-Release weekends are the most anticipated Magic events of the year! Be among the first in the world to play with brand new cards before they're officially released. Each player receives a Pre-Release Pack containing 6 booster packs from the new set, plus an exclusive date-stamped promo card that you can only get at Pre-Release events. Build a 40-card sealed deck from your packs and compete in a casual tournament environment. Pre-Releases are designed to be welcoming for all players - whether you're a tournament veteran or playing in your first event. We run multiple flights throughout the weekend (Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday) to accommodate everyone's schedule. Entry is $30 per event. Prizes include additional booster packs based on your record. The atmosphere is festive with giveaways, sneak peeks at upcoming products, and plenty of trading. Pre-registration is strongly recommended as these events sell out quickly!
